Jolowicz, Heymann

(1816-75)

   German Reform leader and writer. He was a preacher in various German towns. Belonging to the radical element of the Reform movement, he wrote on Jewish theology and, together with David Cassel, translated Judah ha-Levi's Kuzari into German.
